NRG02-D240AC-4Q-PCM DC Motor Control

The NRG02-D240AC-4Q-PCM, with a robust set of features, is easy to use and at the same time, will satisfy demanding application requirements. In addition to on-board fusing to protect your motor and drive, the NRG02-D240AC-4Q-PCM will accept any AC input voltage bewteen 90 and 240VAC at 50 or 60Hz. With the auto-ranging power supply there are no switches to set, no settings to change.

This highly efficient, near unity form factor PWM regenerative drive will increase motor performance while reducing your energy costs. MOSFET power in PWM drives switch at 16kHz, to provide fast circuit response and the constant 1.05 (pure DC is 1.00) form factor throughout the entire 100:1 speed range.

The NRG05-D240AC-4Q-PCM will work with isolated logic signals, motion controllers and programmable logic controllers. It is also compatible with Minarik Drives' popular PCM4 signal isolator and DLC600 digital controller.

The -PCM version of the NRG-4Q Series adds built in isolation that allows the drive to be controlled from an isolated, non-isolated, or grounded control source. Examples include 0 to 10 VDC or 0 to +/- 10 VDC.

  • 4Q Reversing: Regenerative/4 Quadrant drives have the ability to perform quick, contactorless reversing on-the-fly!
  • Speed range and regulation: 1% regulation over 100:1 speed range. 0.1% regulation over 100:1 speed range with the addition of a tachometer for feedback. Armature or tachometer mode is switch selectable.
  • User adjustable calibration pots: IR compensation, motor torque, regen torque, tachometer, min speed offset, forward max speed, reverse max speed, forward acceleration, reverse acceleration and inhibit offset.
  • Diagnostic LEDs: LEDs for motoring, regen (torque or braking), current limit and over-voltage coast.
  • Stopping Modes: User can decelerate (N.O.), regeneratively brake (N.O.) or coast to a stop (N.C.).
  • Cage clamp terminal block: Quick and easy wire terminations.
  • Inhibit personality switch: Choose whether you brake or coast to a stop. Use inhibit plug (201-0024).
  • Auto-ranging power supply: Can accept a 90-240VAC or 80-340VDC as an alternative to an AC input. Connections will vary.
